THAT the 2021-2025 financial plan and capital expenditure program for the Comox Strathcona Waste Management service, functions 391-393, be amended by adjusting the planned solid waste infrastructure expenditures in 2021 and 2022 for the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre new engineered landfill – Cell 2 (#1050) project by increasing 2021 by $1,000,000 and decreasing 2022 by an equivalent amount;
AND FURTHER THAT the project be funded by an equivalent increase in 2021, and decrease in 2022, in the transfer from the capital works reserve for the service.

AND FURTHER THAT a consultative approach for future National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will be undertaken with the aim of either full facility closure or modification of service, in line with the statutory holiday closures that came into effect January 1, 2021. | 209 | All | Weighted |
